ESSAY TYPE.

A. Who is the artist (local/intl.) that is most significant to you and why? 10pts.
It’s Vincent Van Gog. Among all the paintings Van Gogh created, Starry Night was a standout. This is
because he wanted to create an entire painting from his imagination before painting it. He wanted a
theme with wheat fields or cypresses, and while imagining this, he came up with Starry Night.

Van Gogh wrote "Starry Night" while in a hospital for the mentally ill, in moments of clarity of
consciousness. Creativity aided his recovery; it was his savior. There is the allure of insanity and his
fear, and we see how painting, like a funnel, can absorb the artist at any time. If we only look at the top
of the image, we can't tell if we're looking at the sky or the exciting sea in which the sky is reflected
with stars. This painting might have been his way of telling them that his work also carried an artistic word.
This was his way of finally asking for acceptance.

B. What art style /technique that inspires you and what learnings you gained from it? 10pts.
The art style or technique that inspires me is painting like surrealism because I can fully express my feelings. It
teaches me no matter how complicated my art it is still beautiful. Art is the expression or application of human
creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be
appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power. In simpler terms, art is what we find to be pleasing
to our senses. In my opinion, art does not have a true definition. Its definition is different for all of us. To me,
art is a way for one to express themselves. Each piece of art means something different for every one of us.

C. Do you believe that the Neolithic are is the most important development in human history? Why? 15pts.
Yes. Because the Neolithic period is also known as the Agricultural Revolution, as the broad-scale transition of
many human cultures during the Neolithic period from hunting and gathering lifestyle to one of agriculture
and settlement, resulting in the most significant development in human history. it marks the transition in
human history from small, nomadic bands of hunter-gatherers to larger, agricultural settlements and early
civilization. The Neolithic Revolution's innovations spawned civilizations and cities. The Neolithic Revolution
entailed far more than simply adopting a limited set of food-producing techniques. Also, It occurred at the end
of the last ice age and the start of the current geological epoch, the Holocene.
It was the world's first historically verifiable agricultural revolution. The Neolithic Revolution reduced the
variety of foods available, resulting in a decline in the human nutrition quality. They increased the population
by making food more reliable and abundant. Surpluses of food and other goods resulted in labor
specialization, including the formation of new classes of artisans and warriors, as well as the formation of
elites.
