It refers to the film industry as a whole, as well as the site where movies, films,
and other forms of media are displayed, also known as Cinema. Remember that, while
film and cinema are quite similar, they are also very distinct. Furthermore, in the
filmmaking industry, cinema is viewed as an art form. It focuses on the process of
making a movie or film, such as editing, scriptwriting, and set design. In truth, movies
from Hollywood, Bollywood, and other film studios are some of the greatest examples
of cinema. Furthermore, the aspects of cinema are a thing to consider while creating
a very good cinematography output. Temporalis is one of the most crucial variables to
consider, and there are three-time components to consider. The film's physicality, its
action. Psychological refers to the emotional impact or imprint left by the film, whereas
dramatic refers to the events depicted in the film. The third element is space, which
refers to the range and depth of the film's apparent realism. One of the elements that
contribute to the scene's relatability is sound. In general, by mixing these parts and
also by modifying them, a great film will be made.
One of my hobbies during my break time is watching movies. When dating,
going to the cinema is also ideal and classic. When bored, one of the time-wasters
that I will engage with is watching movies. I really find it stress-relieving despite the
movies that will make my blood boil or break my heart. In addition, in our school
Cinema is now a common project reference. Where we students are asked to film a
specific genre and submit it afterward. Although, some of us are talentless in this
matter moreover to editing we manage to create a film that satisfies our skills, efforts
ad abilities. In this modern time, the Film industry is really progressive and successful.
The evidence is the number of films that we can find and watch.
In the second edition book of Susan Hayward, there are useful key concepts that are
needed to consider. There are too many to mention but I will state at least a couple of
them or several. First is the genre, “as a term genre goes back to the earliest cinema
and was seen as a way of organizing films according to type”. Examples are romance,
comedy, drama and etc. Deep Focus or the depth of the field. This refers to the angles
of the films taken. Because the mood of the film also depends on the angles or the
depth of the field. This will also highlight the focus of the movie. The setting is also
essential. It is one of the important elements of the story. This brings excitement, thrill,
curiosity, and amazement to the audience. Sound enhances and modifies the mood
of the film. When happy there will be upbeat music and when sad there will be Melo
music. Lighting is one of the mood enhancers in the set or movie. Editing, especially
in fantasy and sci-fi genres. There are a lot of editing works to handle.
When seeing a movie, I am always amazed at how much work is done to be
able to have this kind of film. Also, sometimes seeing a lot of magnificent movies I
can’t help to criticize the quality of the movie. A factor why I sometimes drop or stop
watching and look for a different movie to watch. Overall, this helps me understand at
least the basic concepts in filmmaking. When sooner in the future, when asked to
make one movie I am at least equipped with the knowledge and wisdom about how
films are created. What preparation should I consider, what things should I organize
and so many things to mention. Even though acting is not my thing, I can still help in
organizing or making the film. One thing that I am willing to take part of.
