တစ္ခ်ိန္တည္းမွာ လူႏွစ္ေယာက္ ဒါမွမဟုတ္ အေၾကာင္းအရာႏွစ္ခုကို

အျငင္းလုပ္ေပးဖို႔ Neither သုံးႏိုင္။

Neither ကို singular countable nouns ေရွ႕မွာ သုံးႏိုင္။

တစ္ခုမွမဟုတ္လ႔ို အဓိပၸာယ္ရ။

 Neither parent came to meet the teacher. (The mother didn’t

come and the father didn’t come.)

 Neither dress fitted her. (There were two dresses and not one

of them fitted her.)

နာမ္စား (pronoun) ေတြနဲ႔ နာမ္ညႊန္းပုဒ္ (determiner) ေတြျဖစ္တဲ့

my, his, the စတာေတြပါတဲ့ ေရတြက္လို႔ရတဲ့နာမ္အမ်ား (plural
countable nouns) ေတြနဲ႔ဆိုရင္ neither of ကို သုံး။
 Neither of us went to the concert.

 Neither of the birthday cards was suitable.
