Dear MacFarlane's
From time to time I acquire rare historic
artifacts.

In my hands and offered for sale for the very

first time I have the Armorial Seal of the late W.
A. MacFarlane-Grieve, of Edenhall &
Impington Hall.
The seal itself is 47mm x 44mm [1 7/8" x 1
3/4"]and is made of solid bronze. The seal
features the Arms of MacFarlane surrounded
by the gentleman's initials, his MacFarlane
surname on a belt like ribbon which is tied by
buckle at the 6'o clock position. The seal bears
the stamp of Knights & Cottrell from whom it
was commissioned by W. A. MacFarlane. The
seal is in Extremely Fine condition with little or
no wear.
If you are interested in this artifact I can send
you a low-res image of the same for your
consideration?

Warwickshire. As Angus inherited the feudal baronies of Edenhall and Penchrise
from Reginald, I have assumed that the latter never married and had children.
