STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

Over the last few years, work has been done manually, up to the present
situation where things are entirely different due to technological changes.
Traditional applications go through many stages of advertising, application,
application review, and interviews and are time-consuming. In today's world of
technology evolution, most hiring processes are obsolete.
I still have some issues, but I'll change them. Most companies have developed
websites that promote their work and fall back on the traditional way of
downloading and filling out applications. This application will be sent to the
company for further consideration and then called to work. The gradual
development of technology has influenced recruitment practices that use
electronic means as a platform for placing job ads and attracting potential
candidates. However, its impact can only be analysed in terms of accessibility,
relevance, relevance, cost, etc., depending on how well the candidate
perceives them as the ideal source of job hunting. Therefore, this survey seeks
to identify electronic job opportunities from the perspective of job seekers as a
source of job hunting. It also emphasises the benefits of online jobs over
traditional jobs. The job portal is also helpful for job seekers unfamiliar with
different companies and other employers, unlike current systems that use
websites where little is known about the current company.
The present system requires applicants to search for job opportunities through
print and visual media. Applicants must apply for jobs using conventional
methods and appear for an interview on a specified date at a specified
location. Employers need to advertise vacancies, sort all applicant details,
conduct selection procedures, and complete the formalities. This approach is
tedious and requires much effort and resources. There is a need for an online
job portal where applicants easily find jobs and employers can find suitable
candidates for the position.
Job seekers need to be very intuitive to candidates to find a job that matches
their skills, job title, industry, role, location, and even the company name. Since
it is essential to continue the job hunting of the candidate, it is necessary to
provide aspects of the above criteria to narrow down the jobs you have
selected. Surveying candidates do not take much time. If the search is general,
the results should be precise. On the other hand, if your search doesn't return
any results, you may need to raise the recall to keep the candidate on your
site. It makes sense to provide a candidate with a personalised job search
based on their profile and past search history.

On the employer side, the search provided in the candidate database should
include several fields that allow you to search for any data points that the
candidate enters. Employers are highly selective when looking for candidates
for a particular position. Some areas employers offer during the search process
include degrees, industries, job titles, essential qualifications, designations,
locations, and experiences. In such cases, the accuracy should be high. The
employer wants a particular candidate and may be interested in other
candidates who are similar to the selected candidate.

JUSTIFICATION
Online job portals provide a platform for job seekers to find jobs that match their qualifications. It is
also designed to help companies improve their standards using computer systems instead of
manual systems. The main goal of developing this system is to make job search easier and more
efficient for job seekers and employers. It is an important resource to find talent for employers. Job
seekers can also find out what positions are available at any given time. Online job portals are the
bridge between employers and job seekers. The job portal has become a very good information
channel because it can reach a wide audience around the world. They are also used in the marketing
of various companies that may not be known if they are not known through the use of this job
portal. The job portal does not require many employees and only one administrator, which also
saves time and personnel.
