What is Warehouse Planning &
Management?
Warehouse management is complex, but done right
it can reduce costs, improve customer satisfaction
and increase warehouse operational efficiency.
This will include the following:
• Arranging the warehouse and the inventory (stock)
• Ensuring having the correct equipment and their maintenance
• Managing all the stock
• Receiving, identifying, inspecting incoming goods.
• Identifying, Packing, expediting goods (shipping orders)
• Tracking overall and improving warehouse performance
• Implementing and managing a warehouse software
management system

Ensure efficient layout for all storage
areas,
Bulky, chemical, UV-Protected , ESDS
protected areas
Design to ensure short and efficient
paths..
Safe , fast ergonomic corridors,
Automatic, semi-automatic material
handling equipment

BINNING

Repack parts as per ATA 300 specs.


Split large quantities as per manufacturer
requirements.
Airtight sealing bags

Transfer to storage area:


Store iac with manufacturer’s specs.
Ensure store as per batch numbers
Picking

PICKING

Preparation of maintenance or check kits

Hand over to requester


(Maintenance or Logistics)
Quality inspection

QUALITY INSPECTION
Visually inspect all goods and relevant
documents
Issue necessary regulatory
airworthiness/ conformity certificates

Prepare to expedite/shipment.
