1. Use the Hamilton method to apportion 30 Tutors among the given subjects. The college
of Teacher Education offers tutoring in math, algebra, calculus, statistics and physics.
The number of Students who wishes to undergo tutoring in each subject is listed below. If
the college can only afford to hire 30 Tutors, determined how many tutors should be assigned to
each subject?

Since, Hamilton method have a 30 SD while Jefferson method have a 32 modified divisor, as
shown in the figure below, the final apportionment exhibit disparity.
3. A group of 85 senior high school students were asked to rank their most favorite sports
to play. Determine the winning option using the plurality of voting. Is there a majority
option? If so, which option?
