Tools: two usb flash disks

(1) 4GB USB flash disk for clonezilla.iso
(2) 8GB USB flash disk for the system image. Normally 8GB is enough.

The steps to download Rufus 3.4:

After you download Rufus3.4.exe , open the software.

The steps to use the software:

Connect the 4GB usb flash disk with your PC.

Select device.
Select the Clonezilla.ios you download.

Click “START” button:

You will see one pop-up screen, click “OK” button.

Click OK to continue.
Please click “close” button when you see the status is ready.
In scale side. BACKUP
You need to prepare another usb flash disk to backup.
Before you turn on scale, you need to connect the keyboard and two usb flash disks to
the scale.
The steps to backup.
1. when you turn on the scale, you need to enter the BIOS menu.(press “esc” key in
keyboard when you turn on the scale to enter BIOS menu).
The picture 1 is GENE-APL5 mainboard. The picture 2 is BT01 mainboard.

2. Select the 4GB usb flash disk as the Boot Option #1
3. Click YES to confirm. Then the scale will restart.

4. When you restart the scale you will see the screen.
Select the language. Click “Enter” key in keyboard to confirm.
5. Press “Enter” key in keyboard to confirm

6. Press “Enter” key in keyboard to confirm.

7. Press “Enter” key in keyboard to confirm.

8. Press “Enter” key in keyboard to confirm.

9. Press “Enter” key in keyboard to confirm.

10. Press Ctrl+C to exit.

11. Press “Enter” key in keyboard to confirm.

12. Press “Tab” key in keyboard to choose “Done”.

Then press “ENTER” to confirm.

15. Input the name for the image

17. Please choose -fsck, then press “Enter” key to confirm.

10. Press “Enter” key to confirm.

12. Press “Enter” to continue.

13. Press “Ctrl”+ “C” in keyboard

14. Press “Enter” to confirm.

15. Press “Tab” key to choose “Done”
Press “Enter” to confirm.
16. Press “Enter” to confirm.

17. Press “Enter” key to confirm.

18. Select “restoredisk”, click “Enter” to confirm.

19. Click “Enter” key to confirm.

20. Click “Enter” key to confirm.
