SuperFilter™II – Efficient oil management leads to longer
bearing life. SuperFilter™II cleans oil cleaner than new. It
captures 99% of particles 5 microns and larger and has
twice the dirt holding capacity of the original SuperFilter™
for maximum bearing life.
EZ Cool™ – Our coolest option for compressor packages
uses a motorized expansion valve for liquid injection
applications to improve compressor efficiency. EZ Cool™ is
controlled by the Frick® Quantum™LX panel.
Cold-Start™ Valve – The energy saving standard,
Frick® compressor packages are designed specifically for
operation without an oil pump under normal operating
conditions. While some low-pressure differential
applications require a demand pump, it operates only
when needed and automatically shuts off to conserve
motor power when not required. Our Cold-Start standard
maximizes efficiency.
Frick® Variable VI – Eliminate power penalties from
over-compression or under-compression. Our method of
varying internal volume ratio to match the system pressure
ratio is patent protected. Never duplicated.
Dual Oil Filters – Serviceability is serious business.
Mount a second oil filter on your Frick® compressor
package to ensure continuous operation during service of
the primary filter. Isolation valves are included.
No Leaks – Integrated internal oil passages eliminate the
potential for leaks with RWF II. No welds. No worry.

External Oil Cooling – Eliminate capacity and power
penalties by using Frick’s thermosyphon or water-cooled
oil cooler. Both use the latest technology in plate design
and are constructed according to ASME Section VIII
Division I.
Smart Series™ Motors – NEMA premium efficient,
low noise motors are standard on Frick® compressor
packages. These Smart Series™ motors are quiet,
economical, and energy efficient.
Mounted Starters – Frick® factory-mounted
compressor motor starters have superior motor overload
protection, require less mounting space, and reduce
installation costs.
Vyper™ Variable Speed Drive – Responds to
changing capacity by varying motor speed instead
of moving the slide valve. It provides better part-load
efficiency, reduces energy consumption, and generates
more consistent suction pressure control.
Compact Size – Reduce your engine room size for
greater space savings. RWF II compressor packages are
compact to save construction costs.
Easy to Service – Frick® keeps the service technician
in mind. All critical package components for service and
maintenance are easy to reach and located on the same
side of the package.

From any angle, RWF II makes a design statement. It’s sleek new lines
are the perfect size and height for start-up applications, keeping space
requirements and building costs to a minimum. Existing facilities get a
new lease on life for expansion. Just 10’ 5” x 5’ 3” (Model 134), RWF II
fits the smallest of spaces to expand operating capacity without new
construction.
RWF II combines the best in size with the best in operation and
durabilitly. Smart Series™ motors have a robust design for industrial duty.
Special Vacuum Pressurized Impregnation (VPI) of the windings is a
Frick® exclusive that protects motors in the rigorous environment of an
industrial engine room.
The new, mounted solid-state starter is designed to reduce power
consumption during start-up and to keep the field technician in mind.
The in-line starter uses a traditional connection configuration that is
easily understood by electricians. Our newest starter is positioned
directly beneath the motor on the compressor package to reduce overall
length and ensure a clean look for your engine room.
For any environment, new or old, RWF II conveniently positions critical service points and openings on a single side.
Efficient rows of packages can hug the wall and still mean easy maintenance.

Major Applications
Blast Freezing
Blast freezing applications like frozen vegetables,
meats, or prepared meals require control flexibility to
match changing system loads. The RWF II’s patented
method of controlling refrigerant compression
during continuous operation (Variable VI) eliminates
the power penalty associated with over/under
compression. RWF II matches the internal volume
ratio with the system pressure ratio automatically for
superior performance.
Food Tempering
Some Food products, like pork and other meats,
require special temperature adjustments during
processing to prepare them for the next step. The
RWF II is equipped with automated controls to
change the temperature during processing without
manual intervention. Let Frick® make the changes
that maximize your system efficiency.
Cold Storage
Precise temperature controls for perishable food
storage environments utilize the industry’s most
efficient energy management strategies. The RWF II
solution fits perfectly in this application.
Test Chambers / Environmental
