PRACTICAL RESEARCH 2

Activity Title: Related Literature

Activity No.: 1.6
Learning Competency:
Presents written review of related literature and conceptual framework.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello! I am Elisa, a researcher. Recently, I worked with

the Department of Environment and Natural Resources on a
project on how plastics produced by malls and shopping centers
can be lessened. To do that, I have been reading several studies
conducted before like fish scales used as an alternative to plastics.
Reading previous research will help you create a better literature
review.

The Review of Related Literature is a written composition of related reference materials

read by a researcher from journal articles, newspapers, books and other documents about the study
(Creswell, 2005).

How to write the Review of Related Literature?

1. Provide context of the study.

2. Clarify the relationship between the proposal study and the previous research.

3. Convince the reader that the proposal study is timely and worthwhile.

4. Formulate an argument from your perspective.

revealed that academic dishonesty is still becoming
rampant where students copy-paste answers from the
Internet and from the answer key of the learning modules.

5. Discuss the variables and the relationship of each one from the other.
