NARRATIVE ESSAY

My early Weekend, Online Class Challenges

“Difficult does not mean Impossible”. Yes, I fully agree on this, a batch of college student like me
who took an online class had face a difficult challenge. But then, how difficult a certain situation it is if
positivity would go over on it, it is always be possible no matter what.

I am a 3rd year Bachelor of Elementary Education Student, who had a class every 8:00 -11:00 in the
morning of Saturday. As a mom with two kids,1 and 3 years old it was a big challenge for me since
there is no one who help me in taking care of my child because we have no helper and it is only me
because their father was too busy also on his work. However, having a positive mind because of so
many reasons I can still manage my time to be in the class on the platform.

There were times I forgot that I have a class because of too busy every morning in taking care of my
two child, I joined late in the platform considering also the speed of the internet connection but then I
was very thankful that our teacher was very kind as always. Together with my classmates we are very
concerned to everybody, sharing various situations and differences to our own Group Chats.

Every time we have an online meet up on this particular subject the first thing our teacher did is to
have an opening prayer first and of course next is checking of attendance. Attendance is a must
considering that we only have an online meet up once a week. From the start of our class in this
second semester our teacher have an oral recitation. She gave us the question as a sort of assignment
and answer those based on our own words. Luckily, all of us can have an oral recitation in a scheduled
time. Since our subject is Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan, our topic is expected that it is
all about Home Economics, Agriculture and Cooking. We had a performance task by group and we do
cooking our choice of food or whatever and we sold it. The entire task that we had in a given time
which our teacher gave we have to report it in our scheduled online- meet up. I am very happy that
our teacher was so very kind in doing all her task as a teacher, she was very concerned in so many
ways and understanding to the things or in a situation that needed to and give chances to students. I
am overwhelmed that despite the challenges in my own, my midterm grade was good enough for me
and worth it.

This final week of the second semester I am very thankful for I almost finished all the requirements
needed. Looking forward and aiming good outcome in this final exam, still I am very grateful for our
teacher in this subject and I am confident enough for there is no reason I could not passed on this
subject. However all the learnings I got from this subject from the very start, it adds to my knowledge
on how it is important to learn all of those which are really applicable in our daily life and survival.

As a student and mommy at the same time is not easy to think literally. But a person who had big
dreams and goals in life aiming to reach whatever it is for the sake of the future. All difficult things will
done easily and all carried out if we have a spirit of positivity and Faith to God.
 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

To Passed in this subject is not be possible without the thorough support of my partner for the sort of
load expenses considering this is online class. And yet to all the person whom I called for help If I needed
to, I am very thankful for all their selfless support.

I would also like to thank to my very own understanding, kind and competitive teacher, Mrs. Ailyn Totao
for her very passionate in teaching and think only how to teach and make this subject interesting for us

To my family, friends and classmates who plays an important role for helping me to passed in this
subject. To caffeine and sugar who also my companions through nights of thinking and writing.
