Introduction
In the previous class, I have an opportunity to observer my classmate’s teaching demonstration,
Truong My Cam, in English Teaching for Children class. Her presentation is mainly focus on
teaching Speaking Skill with the topic Clothes. According to My Cam, the last lesson, children
have learnt some new vocabulary of clothes such as hat, sunglasses, mittens, boots, raincoat,
umbrella, sweater. Therefore, in this lesson, children practiced to ask and answer the question
what they need when the weather is (sunny, rainy, windy, snowy). In general, her lesson is very
meaningful and funny with many interesting activities such as role-play, “sticky balls” games
and “the floor is lava’ game that motivate students to practice speaking a lot and create friendly
and funny learning atmosphere.
