1/13/22; 3 hours Getting my hair done at a salon I find taking time out from my schedule to get my hair done,
something that I enjoy and find relaxing, is a form of self-care. I like
being able to take this time to myself and unwind. This helps me feel
more refreshed and ready to take on the upcoming days.
1/18/22; 3 hours Dinner with my friends and family I enjoy going out to eat and especially like it when I can use that time
at a restaurant and a game night to spend time with my friends and family. We were able to enjoy
afterward each other’s company as well as the food. We then had dessert and
played some Mario Party after. I felt very refreshed after the evening
and thankful for my support system.
1/27/22; 1 hour Taking time to cook a home Cooking brings me joy. Often, I feel that I do not have time in my
cooked meal days to find time to cook. I was able to carve out some time to not
rush through cooking a meal and take my time. I found this to be
very therapeutic and I felt good that I was able to make a good meal
for myself.
2/2/22; 1.5 hour Dinner with my significant other Celebrating the important people in my life is important to me. I find
for his birthday celebration joy in being able to take time to go out and celebrate special
occasions. Being able to maintain personal relationships away from
work and school helps me find meaning in my personal life.
2/27/22; 30 minutes Walking with my dog around the I needed to get out of the house and away from work, so I decided to
neighborhood carve out some time to go on a mental health walk around the
neighborhood with my dog. It helps knowing that even a 30-minute
walk can help me reset and lift my mood.
3/6/22; 1 hour Restorative yoga class I chose to do this activity because I was feeling restless, anxious, and
unable to sleep. The class was very relaxing and put me in a better
state so I can get ready for bed. This will help me in the future when I
find myself unable to sleep before a shift or after a shift, I can do
some restorative yoga to calm my nerves before bedtime.
3/13/22, 1.5 hour Work out session at the gym Working out for an hour helped me cope with a stressful day. I

believe I can implement this into my weekly routine to build healthy

habits and reduce burnout.
3/21/22; 1 hour Facial at spa I enjoy taking the time for self-care and pampering. I was able to
enjoy the hour and relax. Felt refreshed and recharged after my
facial. I do not have to feel guilty about taking time for myself as
caregivers need to take care of themselves to take care of others.
3/27/22; 1 hour Sleeping in on a weekend Giving myself extra rest when I needed it helped me recharge my
batteries. Allowing myself extra rest when I need it will help me with
feeling more rested in the future.
4/11/22; 1 hour Watching a TV show that I enjoy Allowing myself some downtime to watch TV and relax felt like giving
myself leisure time without much effort or time expedited.
Incorporating downtime will help me develop self-care habits that I
can incorporate in the future.
4/5/22; 1 hour Reading a book that enjoy I wanted to read something other than a textbook for a little.
Allowing myself to read some fiction which I enjoy made me feel
more in control. I feel good knowing that I can carve out some time
to do things that I enjoy and still reproductive and get necessary work
done.
4/20/22; 1 hour Taking a nap After an exhausting day at clinical, I went home and decided to take a
nap. I felt it was necessary for my mental health. I had planned on
going home and starting homework right away however I felt that
taking a nap was the self-care I needed.
