Plot –
A student named (Damion) was studying in a maxi heading to school he walks in his class when his
friend (budow) approaches him. Budow asks damion to borrow his book when the unthinkable
happens damion realizes he left the book in the maxi in which he came to school. Damion is in a
great shock when his friend reminds him that the maxi driver is his father’s friend and would most
likely see it later that day. In the maxi, a frequent passenger in Narine’s maxi sees the book and
informs Narine. He decides to drop it for Damion’s father and later that evening tells damion about
the whereabouts of the book. Damion is relieved and the story ends when his father tells him to be
more aware of his surroundings.

Skit-
Budow-“damion let me borrow yuh book to review the questions nah boy.”
Damion-“Just now eh it in meh bag.”
Narrator-damion searches for the book in his bag but little does he know he will get the shock of his
life.
Damion-“Oh god where my book gone the test is tomorrow!”
Budow-“I thought you say you revise with it this morning?”
Damion-“Way boy this can’t be happening the test is tomorrow!”
Budow-“But where your book fly away and gone!”
Narrator- Ramsingh the passenger sees the book and Narine the driver is informed.
Ramsingh-“Drive... Look the youth man forget he book he book in the maxi.”
Narine-“Damion... leave he book but he never do that before.”
Ramsingh-“I did see him watching through he notes.”
Narine-“Me and he father is good, good friend I better drop it home for him.”
Narrator-narine drops the book for damion’s father. Damion and budow now try to figure out the
whereabouts of the book.
Budow-“Wait nah ent narine drop you to school?”
Damion-“yeh, he is my father good friend so he might see it in the maxi!”
Budow- “But what if somebody take it up, boy yuh go be in trouble!”
Damion-“Let me not raise my blood pressure narine go know what to do!”

Narrator-We now are at the end of the school day and damion waits for narine.
Damion-“narine, by chance you see my book in the maxi?”
Narine-“Doh worry boy I drop it for yuh father this morning”
Damion-“Well I glad it lost in your maxi Otherwise somebody would ah pick it up”
Narrator-Damion returns home and later that day his father told him to be more responsible and
aware of his sorroundings.
