DESIGN YOUR DUKE CONTEST

STEP 1
START USING VECTARY 3D STUDIO
− Click on the icon on the top left corner to open the menu.

Note: You can choose between two motorcycle colors: orange and black. You can
do the same with the background color.

− To start click the “CHANGE BIKE DESIGN” button and download the design
template (it is a “.png” file) by clicking on the button “DOWNLOAD TEMPLATE”.

STEP 2
CREATE YOUR DESIGN
− To edit the design template, we recommend using graphic editing
software like Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or free alternatives
like www.photopea.com.

− Import the .png template to your graphic editing software and start
creating your individual design.

Note: Focus on the white areas, since only these will be visible later on the
3D model. Don’t mind overlaps of your graphic elements and the black and
white areas. This doesn’t affect the 3D model.

STEP 3
MAKE YOUR DESIGN COME TO LIFE
− When you are finished creating your design, simply export it as a .png file.

Note: You don’t need to adjust the color profile, dimensions, etc.

− Go back to our landing page (https://www.ktm.com/en-int/ktm-

world/design-your-duke-contest.html) and open the VECTARY 3D
STUDIO menu. Click on the “CHANGE BIKE DESIGN” button and upload
your design by clicking on the button “UPLOAD YOUR DESIGN”.

− Finally: Preview your design on the 3D KTM DUKE model by clicking on

“PREVIEW YOUR DESIGN”.

Note: The rendering may take up to 5 seconds. Rotate the camera with your
mouse (desktop) or fingers (on a mobile phone) to see your design on the 3D
model from different angles.

STEP 4
ENTER THE CONTEST

− When you’re happy with the result, open the menu and click on “TAKE A
SCREENSHOT” to download an image of your current view.

Note: We recommend taking at least 5-10 screenshots from different angles to

enter the contest.

− To enter the contest, post your KTM DUKE design screenshots on Instagram
using the hashtag #DESIGNYOURDUKECONTEST. Also let us know what got
you inspired and what READY TO RACE means for you.

Note: You can also share “your 3D model” with a link in the post caption of your
entry by again opening the menu, click on “CHANGE BIKE DESIGN” and then
“COPY DESIGN LINK”. Share this link also to preview your design on different
devices or with your friends.

STEP 5
DUKENESS IN YOUR LIVING ROOM
The cherry on top of the cake! Open the 3D VECTARY STUDIO menu and
click on the “VIEW IN AR” button to open the AR viewer on your phone
(accessible on most Android, iOS, and iPad mobile devices).

Place it in your living room, garage, parking spot or anywhere it’ll just look
right.

Note: This is not a mandatory step to enter the contest but you should
definitely try it.
