1. Define development

Answer: Development is a process that creates growth, progress, positive change or the
addition of physical, economic, environmental, social and demographic components. To further
make it simple, development can be defined as bringing about social change that allows people
to achieve their human potential. For example, if a country has a sufficiently developed
economy (like China, USA, Brazil, India, Russia) then it can be considered as a developed
country.

2. Explain the difference among developed, developing and least develop countries

Answer: Based on the report of group 3, developed countries define as countries that passed a
certain socioeconomic criteria. While, developing countries is called a less developed countries
or emerging market that has a lower gross domestic product (GDP) than developed countries,
with a less mature and sophisticated economy. On the other hand, least developed countries
are low-income countries confronting severe structural impediments to sustainable
development. They are highly vulnerable to economic and environmental shocks and have low
levels of human assets.

3. Identify the countries included in each of the classifications based on their level
of development.
