GLOSSARY

COMMAND: used to give instructions to a computer or operating system or impart

instructions of them.

PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE: allows precisely what data a software must operate on.

ALGORITHM: it is a sequence of well-defined finite steps that solve a problem , for

example the execution of daily task.

CLIENT: person who uses the services of the software or a computer especially does so

regulary

INTERFACE: it is used in computing to name the functional connection between two

system, programs or devices.

SOFTWARE: set of programs and routines that allow the computer to perform certain

task.

HARDWARE: set of physical or material that constitute a computer or computer system.

PASSWORD: It is a computer program that is used to store a large number of user

password pairs.

SOFTWARE ADMINISTRATOR: it is the person in charge of managing the software the

installed applications, managing the users and checking that the system works properly.

PROGRAMMER: is that person who writes computer programs, that is writes, debugs

and maintains the source code.

CONCLUSIONS

It is important to know the technical terms in their native language since developers are

faced with understanding and mastering the terms since in development all or most of the tools

are in English.
