Governors State’s Master of Science in Computer Science

Computer Science?

master’s degree, and graduate studies greatly increase
opportunities for advancement into management
positions. A Master’s in Computer Science allows you to

Data collected in 2017 reflected the median annual
salary for Computer Programmers at $79,840 with an
average range of $61,100 – $103,690 (Bureau of
Labor Statistics). Chicago’s median salary for Computer
Programmers is $84,490.

Admission Requirements:
• A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited
college or university
• Good standing at last institution attended
• Official transcripts from all previously attended
institutions (demonstrating a fulfillment of the
above three items) submitted to the Office of
Admissions and Student Recruitment
• A non-refundable $50 application fee
• Most programs require supplemental application
