TASK 2: REPORT
Scenario
Organizational behavior is about understanding behavior of employees and how organizational structure and culture
could be transformed in such a way that organizational goals could be achieved. Today’s world is facing dynamic
changes in technology and global economic recession. In order to succeed in this changing environment, organizations
need to understand what would be the most appropriate standpoint to re-engineer the organization. Such as structure
and culture for the organization, relationships between structure and culture, leadership approaches, motivational
theories that could be applied and how effective team could be developed to achieve organizational objectives.
You work as a business consultant in a reputed organization in the Maldives. Your CEO has recently asked you to
identify and discuss organizational issues in a client’s organization with the aim of finding suitable solutions.
Write a report on motivation and teamwork in a selected organization titled “Motivation and Teamwork in
[organization name]”. Your report must be unified and coherent. It must not exceed 2,500 words.
1. Discuss the impact that different leadership styles may have on motivation in organizations in
periods of change. (3.1) (14 Marks)
