Summary of Findings

3.4 According to the data gathered in table 3.4 (page 13), the majority of

respondents chose "Sometimes,” While the remaining respondents chose

they "Never." got flooded with house chores and responsibilities The

results show a large gap between the two options. With "Sometimes"

verbal interpretation, its weighted Mean is 3.40 and the Standard

Deviation is 3.03. Meanwhile the majority of them do a lot of thinking

before sleeping. Its weighted Mean is 4.00 and 3.56 for the Standard

Deviation with “Often” verbal interpretation. And for the last question the

majority of them chose "Sometimes” and which obtained the highest

votes and the remaining says they “Never” tell myself that it's better to wait

to do it until I'm feeling more inspired, When I have something difficult to do.

with the least amount of votes with overall, the total weighted mean is

3.60 and 3.21 for SP which means they “Often” experience these given

questions.

3.5 According to the data gathered in table 3.4 (page 13), the majority of

respondents, The majority of them answered 30 minutes and above, 1/6

of the respondents answered 10-15 minutes, 1/8 of them answered 20-

25 minutes, while the rest 1/45 respondents answered 5 minutes. As

noticed, we can tell that most of the respondents use their phones/

gadgets more than 30 minutes before going to sleep.

3.6 According to the data gathered in table 3.4 (page 13), the majority of

respondents chose “I like the pressure of an incoming deadline, but I still


need to have a solid time reserve. I work best when I know there’s a

deadline coming soon (within a week)” Subsequent to this answered “I

like having a good time reserve in case something goes wrong, ” some

answered “I love the feeling of racing against the clock to see if I can meet

the deadline,” and “I have the utmost disrespect for the deadline, so I

barely finish anything on time.” The rest of respondents answered “I like

the pressure of an incoming deadline, but I still need to have a solid time

reserve. I work best when I know there’s a deadline coming soon” which

received the least of the votes.

Conclusion

3.4 In this question, we can see that most people get distracted when they

aren't motivated and struggle to maintain their enthusiasm to get things done

right away, which can lead to procrastination and sleep deprivation due to poor

time management. Furthermore, these questions address issues such as the

factors or causes of sleep deprivation.

3.5 As can be seen, the majority of respondents use their phones/devices for

more than 30 minutes before going to bed. Before getting into bed and closing

their eyes, they could be scrolling through their social media accounts,

checking emails and messages, playing games, watching movies, and so on.
This may cause eye strain during procrastination, which may eventually lead to

sleep deprivation.

3.6 As can be seen, the majority of respondents tend or are likely to put

pressure on themselves to meet deadlines while also requiring adequate time to

complete their tasks, which is due to procrastination and poor time

management.
