wall will be installed at the perimeter of excavation area to support and retain soil during excavation. After the construction of permanent structures
the space between constructed structures and secant pile wall will be backfilled and the secant pile wall will be left buried inside soil. The ground
water table is considered at surface level in the design. Before starting excavation, the ground water table is to be lowered inside the excavation
area to at least 1.0m below the excavation level and shall be maintained untill the backfilling is done. The secant pile wall is considered to be made
of 800mm diameter Primary Piles (to be drilled first) in M35 grade and 800mm diameter Secondary Piles (to be drilled as touch piles) in M35 grade.
Reduced Levels:
Ground Level = 0.0 m (Top 1.0m to be excavated on passive side before wall construction)
Ground Water Table = -40.0 m
Final Excavation Level = #REF! m
Toe level of Secant Pile Wall = #REF! m
Soil/Rock Properties:
The soil & rock properties are obtained from sub soil exploration report. The soil parameters used in Wallap analysis
are as below -
Layer-1-Fill Up: Top level of soil layer = 0.0 m (top 3m to be excavated before wall const.)
Bottom level of soil layer = -2.0 m
Cohesive / Cohesionless = Cohesionless soil
Consolidation State = Normally-Consolidated OCR = -
