Globalization is a process and project.

It is a contested concept, meaning most scholars do not agree on

what globalization is, but scholars do agree that it has multiple, transformative processes and bears the
legacy of unevenness. Unevenness meaning that some people benefited more than others.

Globalization is a global process that is changing the world. I would also like to discuss what are the
benefits and drawbacks of globalization in the world from different perspectives.

Globalization is a very complex phenomenon, basically it means the relationship and connection
between countries are getting closer, and they have more contact, politically and economically.
Globalization has influenced the world in many different ways, like culture, economy and politics. In 40
years, globalization has become a popular trend in the world. Especially in China, the culture and
economy has been influenced by globalization a lot. Shanghai which is one of the biggest and most
international cities in China. Because of the policy and the location of Shanghai, this city is becoming a
megacity very soon, big business and companies comes and people from different countries live and
work here. In China, McDonald and Starbuck are everywhere.

According to my dad’s story, he felt globalization around twenty years ago after the policy Reform and
Opening-up. Since then school are more strict on English and he can see the product from western
countries. Thousands of years ago, there are lots of places that have no development and people live in
very primitive ways. But these place has been changed very faster along with the transportation and
technology developed. People do not not risk their life for food anymore. Their life has become easier.
Let’s moves to Asia, China is the world factory which have a huge population and labor resources,
globalization is one of the most important factor.

We have learned that there are different internal and external components that affect the business
environment, from corporate social responsibility to cultural and institutional framework; organizations
must take into consideration all the factors related to the different parts of its environment.

Globalization has opened the doors between all businesses and countries worldwide, it has created
connections without boundaries and a global exchange of information, cultures etc

Nowadays, it is extremely important for students to be aware that beyond their personal world, the one
they see and are able to reach, there is a wider world with people, towns, and cities similar to their own,
in which people speak different languages and have different religions and views of life. Moreover, that
it is impossible to understand their own context and reality, unless they see it as part of something
much larger and complex than itself. The reason for this is that due to globalization, people, societies,
and nations are more interdependent than ever before.
