RE - STRUCTURING / FORMATION OF DISTRICTS - AMENDMENT TO THE

RE -STRUCTURING OF POLICE CIRCLES , POLICE SUB -DIVISIONS OF

POLICE STATIONS - EAST GODAVARI DISTRICT POLICE UNIT , HEAD

QUARTERS AT RAJAMAHENDRAVARAM .

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (s) and (v) of Section 2 , of the
code of criminal procedure 1973 central act of (2) of 1974 , read with the provisions
of Andhra Pradesh (Andhra Area ) District Police Act ,1859 , the Governor of Andhra
Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to the notification issued in the
G.O.Ms.No.35 , Home (Ser.III ) Department , dated.11.04.2022 namely :

AMENDMENT

In the said Notification , the following shall be substituted namely :

The Police station mentioned in Column 4 of the Schedule -l appended shall

hereafter upgraded to that of column 5 (if mentioned as UPS ) and cease to be
in the Police Circle , Police sub -division and Police Unit mentioned in Column

3, 2 and 1 respectively and shall hereafter include in the Circle , Sub -Division
and Police Unit mentioned in Column 6, 7 and 8 respectively .

This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect on and
from 4th day of April , 2022 .
