Write down the different activities that you do in the hours given below. If you are a man,
use the second column. If you are a woman, use the third column.
After writing the activity, the class will be grouped by gender. Each group will be collating
their answers and will try to write these down on a manila paper or on the board. Each of the
group will be presenting their answers to the class and would proceed to the next page.
Processing of the Activity

1. How many hours do you spend in productive work? My typical workday lasts between two
and five hours. I also need to be motivated or have the energy to do the duties.
2. How many hours do you spend in recreational activities? When I don't have classes, I
spend more than 3 hours in my free time, but when I do, I spend about 2 to 3 hours.
3. How many hours do you spend time with your family? Currently, I spend 12 hours a day
with my family because I don't have any classes on campus and I spend most of my time
at home with my parents and younger sister.
4. How many hours do you spend time with your friends? Currently, I communicate with my
friends for 1-2 hours, but if I had face-to-face meetings, I would probably chat with them
for more than 4 hours.
5. How many hours do you spend time resting? The majority of the time, I sleep for longer
than eight hours.

Do you think men are more productive than women or the reverse? Why?

I believe that women are more productive than men because we are always required to
balance our duties at home, at work, and in our social lives. Women typically have a lot on their
plates, and we frequently multitask in order to finish the duties on our to-do lists. At the same time
that we work on household, cook, organize our homes, and study. According to Berman (2018),
women are more productive than males at work. In today's workplaces, women put in 10% more
effort than men and complete tasks with a completion rate that is somewhat higher or equal to
men's (Hive, 2020). This will demonstrate how hard the woman is working to do the assignments
provided to us and fill our day with useful duties.

What did you learn from this activity?

I have found that creating a schedule with a list of productive chores to complete makes
me more productive. This timetable helps me stay on course and maintains my attention so that I
can accomplish my goal for today. Making a schedule increases productivity and improves time
management. It will get simpler for me to perform the activities on a regular basis as I become
used to doing them. In addition, I discovered that I, as a woman, have a lot of things to get done.
I am motivated to do these tasks before their due dates or the day's end because I want them to
be finished fast to prevent disruptions to my other activities.

In the given activity above, please write down your insights on how you will show respect and
concern for the other gender.

Men and women have different responsibilities in the home and at work. Respect must be
shown while taking into account these differences. One of the best ways to show respect for
someone is to listen to their point of view, observe their circumstances, and take it into
consideration. Moreover, combat stereotypes, even your own. Unconscious gender biases affect
everyone. These are roles that we've internalized as a result of the standards imposed by our
society for how men and women should act, how they should present themselves, and in certain
circumstances, what sort of work they ought to perform. We must confront the stereotypes we
frequently come across in the media, the street, and schools by becoming conscious of these
biases. Being understanding of our differences will aid in the development of trust, and it also
makes people feel good.
