Sub:- Mis-Management and inadequate support from CTTC Bonohooghly

Respected sir,

We the parents of Harsha Shil, Somesh Sen & Suvorno Das hereby express our deep displeasure
for the way the ongoing “in-plant” training is being mis-managed by the administration of the
Bonohooghly tool room.

Starting from the planning of such a long journey amounting to, not less than 2500kms from
Howrah-Tatanagar-Visakhapatnam-Vijaywada-Chennai in these extreme hot summer conditions
that too forcing the kids to settle for non-airconditioned travel due to late actions in terms of railway
reservation by the concerned staff is the first step of the down fall.

Subsequently on arrival at Chennai the stay of Female students was absolutely regrettable
wherein Ms Harsha Shil and three other female students were forced to sleep on the floor itself
after such a long and tiresome journey at the shared-accommodation provided by the host
institution (Mando Industries) at Chennai which is under some tie-up with the Bonohooghly tool
room administration.

Thereafter, on 09 Jun 22, during the unsolicited and un-informed medical check-up of the students
by the host institute (Mando Industries) our kids viz. Ms Harsha Shil, Somesh Sen (Beta
Thalassemia Carrier ), Suvorno Das(Partial Disability) have been barred from various routine
activities like Bank account opening, and other related activities.

It may also be noted that a fear of moving these three students to some other institution is also
being circulated by Mr Gabind (HR Rep. of Mando Industries)

In view of the above following is requested:-

(a) Issue a Written correspondence(Signed by Director) to the parents of all the students
involved by giving complete details of the ongoing in-plant training at Mando, Chennai and
the future course of action involved in it, till completion of the training by PM 10 Jun 22.

(b) Liaise with Mando HR, to immediately include the above mentioned three students as an
integral part of the complete batch sent by Bonohooghly Tool room and complete all the
tasks for them in a single go along with the whole batch.

(c) Provide Better accommodation for female students on a fast-track basis and update their
parents on personal basis after doing so.

With a hope that you will personally look into the matter and resolve the issues at hand and
provide relief to the worried state of mind of the affected parents on high priority basis.
