Guidelines for Parents/students for Online Classes for Session 2021-22

Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Almighty Allah, we have successfully completed a full online
session in 2020-21. As the pandemic situation is continuing, keeping this in mind MDIC authority
has decided to carry on with online teaching like the last session. MDIC is going to take more steps
to implement online education (live classes and all types of assessment) properly. For this, it is
decided to use following three online platforms:

a) WhatsApp: For instant communication (short messages, sending notice, link of live classes,
‘class code’/ ‘link’ of Google Classroom, routine, syllabus and any other emergency
purpose).
b) ZOOM: For conducting live classes
c) Google Classroom: For assessments (CW/ HW/ Worksheet/CT/ Quiz/ MCQ and all other
exams) and for providing materials/ notes.

Parents & students are requested to take the following steps for effective online teaching and
learning. Please contact class teachers/ subject teachers for further clarification:

1) Students are advised to work under strict parental guidance.

2) Parents will make sure of broadband internet connection and backup mobile data at their own.
3) Parents are requested to take prior preparation for electricity failure or other internet connection
related problems and also ensure their desktops, laptops and mobiles are fully charged before
attending their classes.
4) Parents/ students are advised to set up related apps as mentioned above in laptops/desktops and
mobiles.
5) Parents/ Students are advised to contact with the new class teacher, if not done yet.
6) Parents are requested to provide their (father & mother) contact numbers including WhatsApp
numbers and email addresses to respective class teachers so that faculties can contact or send
messages directly to the parents.
7) All students have to maintain Gmail account provided by MDIC to log in to Zoom and
Google classroom.
8) Parents/ Students must inform class teachers if they don’t have profile photo in their Gmail
account provided by MDIC so that profile photo can be uploaded by the office.
9) Students must upload their photographs in school/ college uniform as profile photo in
WhatsApp account.
10) Students will get Zoom link to attend the class at least twenty minutes before the class starts.
11) Students will attend the class by turning on their video option.
12) Students must attend the class in proper school/ college uniform.
13) Students must attend the class in Zoom in due time by using their proper names (Roll-Full
Name-class-section. For example: 08 Fuad Hasan Susmit 9D). Without the proper profile
names students will not be allowed to join the class.

14) After joining the class, student will write ‘yes sir/madam’ or ‘present’ or ‘name-roll’ in the chat
box of ZOOM. This will be counted as his/her attendance.
15) Students must complete the assignments (CW/HW/ WS/ CT etc.) on due time according to
the instructions.
16) Parents are cordially requested to monitor their children’s activities strictly as online classes and
exams will be conducted through different online platforms where students will participate by
staying at home with the help of technological devices. Parents must check whether their
children are completing all assignments or not.
17) Parents are also requested to check their and their children’s WhatsApps/ email regularly.
