Hope you all are safe, staying at your home and taking good care of yourself and your family

As you all know, due to prevailing adverse situation caused with the spread of deadly COVID-19
the entire country is under lockdown since 22nd March, 2020 and our classes are off since 14th
March, 2020. Under the prevailing circumstances, in order to ensure that the studies and learning
process of the students does not suffer, your teachers are already taking your classes through
online mode(as desired by UGC and the University). The main objective of taking online
classes is to ensure that the learning process of the student continues and this time is used
productively. In my own online classes, I have witnessed 100% attendance of the students and as
per the feedback received from the students, they are finding the online classes highly useful.
Moreover, not many resources are required to attend the online class. A student is need of a
laptop(if laptop not available, then mobile phone can be used), Internet connection, and a Zoom
Cloud Meeting App/Google Meet App etc. which can be downloaded free from play store.
Therefore, you all are advised to attend your online classes as planned by your teachers as per
time table.

However in some cases due to connectivity issues or such other issues few students are finding it
difficult to understand the online talks, in case of any such issues the concerned student/s may
discuss the matter with the concerned teacher and mutually they may make plan and take such
decision which can ensure good learning for such students.

Further, I have come across that few students are finding it difficult to submit their assignments
because of non-availability of books etc. with them. Such student/s may also discuss the matter
with the concerned teacher and may take appropriate decision. Teachers have already been
requested to accept assignments from such students once the situation normalizes.

Moreover, teachers have been asked to share e-content of the study material with the students.
