Location of the Project: Barangay Ason, Bahi, Burabod, Denrica, Harrison,
Mansangat, Pambuhan, Barangay III (Poblacion),
Barangay IV (Poblacion), and Tamiawon.
Target Beneficiary: 100 members of selected barangay women’s organizations

C. Total Project Cost: One Hundred Thousand Pesos (P100,000.00)

D. Source of Fund: Gender and Development (GAD) Fund

II. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

A. RATIONALE

The Sustainable Livelihood Program is the centerpiece program of Local Poverty


Reduction Action Office for poor, vulnerable and marginalized households and communities
to help improve their socio-economic conditions through accessing and acquiring necessary
assets to engaged in and maintain thriving livelihoods.

Upholding the value of inclusiveness, the Program is open to poor, marginalized,


vulnerable and/or disadvantaged households, building upon their strengths and
understanding how they can use these to achieve positive livelihood outcomes.
Furthermore, it will operate in prospective barangays as potential areas to implement its
various interventions.

Furthermore, the Program endeavors to reinforce principles of community empowerment


and participatory development into program implementation to increase the level of
participation among program participants and harness a deeper sense of ownership of their
development. At the same time, the Program recognizes the need to improve the
implementation process with a more efficient implementation timeline and further strengthen
the social preparation of participants, while ensuring responsible and judicious use of
resources.

B. OBJECTIVES

To provide sewing materials that can be used in the development of the desired product
that will be the source of livelihood in the community to reduce poverty and inequality by
generating employment among poor households and by moving highly vulnerable
households into sustainable livelihood and toward economic stability.

C. EXPECTED OUTPUT

The sewing materials will be used in developing the desired product to provide livelihood
to poor, marginalized, vulnerable and/or disadvantaged households of selected barangay
women’s organizations. The materials will serve as tools in developing the desired product
to be a source of livelihood in the area and will be the mainstay of the beneficiaries.
Furthermore, the materials will help them earn a living to feed their families properly in daily
life.

D. SOCIOECONOMIC IMPACT

The women from the poor, marginalized, vulnerable and/or disadvantaged households of
selected barangay women’s organizations will benefit the sewing materials. The materials
will liven up the interest of the women to participate in the livelihood program which will help
them to earn and meet the needs of their families. Moreover, the materials will respond to
their needs to produce the desired product to lift their financial capability, raise the standard
of living, and will lift the state in life.

E. TARGET BENEFICIARY
The target beneficiaries of the Program are the selected barangay women’s
organizations which belongs to poor, marginalized, vulnerable and/or disadvantaged
households. The beneficiaries of the Program are the following Barangay: Ason, Bahi,
Burabod, Denrica, Harrison, Mansangat, Pambuhan, Barangay III (Poblacion), Barangay IV
(Poblacion), and Tamiawon.

F. BUDGETARY REQUIREMENT

The budget of the purchasing of sewing materials will be coming from the Gender and
Development (GAD) Fund Fiscal Year 2021 with the amount of One Hundred Thousand
Pesos (P100,000.00) allocated to be carried out the purchasing of sewing materials for
selected barangay women’s organizations from poor, marginalized, vulnerable and/or
disadvantaged households.
