CHAPTER II
Introduction of industry

Honda Motor Company, Ltd. The engineer Honda Soichiro founded the Honda


Technical Research Institute near Hamamatsu in 1946 to develop small,
efficient internal-combustion engines. It was incorporated as Honda Motor
Company in 1948 and began producing motorcycles in 1949.

Honda's primary goals are originality, innovation and efficiency, resulting in
high quality products at affordable price, and environment friendly. It has wide
network of production and manufacturing facility internationally.
CHAPTER III

OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY

 To know which moped is more affordable.

 To know more moped is more comfortable and easier to handle.

 To know the which vehicle is more preferable in DIEMS.

 To know which moped is more popular in DIEMS students.

SCOPE OF STUDY
 This research project is done to study the Awareness and Satisfaction
level, problems and prospects of students towards Mopeds in DIEMS.

 To carry out this project their primary aim is to compare student’s


preference of Honda Activa and hero pleasure in DIEMS. The project
also studies user’s point of view while purchasing a Moped.

 The scope is limited to DIEMS.


CHAPTER IV

DATA ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION

1. Which Company Moped you are using?

INTERORETATION
 Most of the respondents 60% are saying that they are using Honda.
 And 40% are saying that they are using Hero.

2. . Do you suggest same moped to others?

INTERORETATION

 Most of the respondents 65% are saying Yes they have suggested same
moped to others.
 And 35% respondents are saying No. they have not suggested same
moped to the others
3. Do you have any technical knowledge about buying before?

INTERPRETATION
 Most of the respondents 55% are saying Yes they are technical
knowledge before buying moped.
 And 45% are saying they have no any technical knowledge before
buying.
4. What features do you like most?

INTERPRETATION
 Most of other respondents that is 50% are saying they like most quality.
 And 30% respondents are saying they like service.
 And 15% respondents are saying they like price.
 And 5% respondents are saying they like other.

5. What is your main purpose to purchase the moped?

INTERPRETATION
 Most of the respondents says that 69% are purchasing the moped for
official use.
 And 31% are saying they purchase moped personal use.
6. How do you come to know about this moped?

INTERPRETATION
 Most are the respondents that is 43% are saying they came to know about
moped through Advertisements.
 And 27% are saying they came to know about moped through internet.
 15% are saying they came to know about moped through friends.
 15% are saying they came to know about moped through showroom.

7. In which festival season do you purchase a moped ?

INTERPRETATION
 The most are the respondents 59% they are saying they have purchase
moped in Diwali.
 And 40% are saying they have purchased moped in Dasara.
 And 1% are saying they have purchased moped in Any other festival.
8. After servicing whether your moped are delivered at promised time?

INTERPRETATION
 The most are the respondents 87% they are saying Yes after servicing
moped are delivered.
 in promised time.
 And 13% are saying No they are not delivered moped in promised time.
9. Are you satisfied with the pickup and performance of the vehicle after test
ride?

INTERPRETATION
 The most of the respondents 77% they are saying Yes they are satisfied
about pick up and performance after test ride.
 And 23% respondents are saying No. they are not satisfied in pick up and
performance after test ride.
10. Did the showroom people explained you about the features and the price in
detail?

INTERPRETATION

 The most of the 93% respondents they are saying yes showroom people
explained about features.
 And 7% respondents are saying No. show room people are not explained
properly.
CHAPTER V
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSION

FINDINGS:

 It was found that majority of respondents preferred to Honda Activa.

 Majority of respondents said that quality of the moped is good.

 It was found from the study that majority of respondents would


recommend Honda Activa to others.

 Majority of respondents were satisfied with quality of the mopeds.

 Most of respondents said that the ambience of the mopeds is good while
few said it should be improved.

 It is also found that majority of respondents are satisfied by services


provided by the Honda and with the staff behavior.

 Majority of respondents said they would buying again.


 CONCLUSION:

We concluded following things after conducting the survey and after analyzing
the data being collected we arrived at following mentioned conclusions

 Most of the customers are satisfied with Ride Honda Activa.

 Mostly customers said that they preferred Honda Activa because its
features & mileage is better as compared to other mopeds.

 After analyzing the data, we found that most of the people of middle class
are buying Honda Activa.

 Overall, the project study gave good exposure to do real time research
work. It will surely help in future project studies.
 RECOMMENDATION

 Auto mobiles companies can increase the sales of sedan cars by


considering customers suggestion or complaints about service or product
so that necessary action can be taken.

 Review meeting should be often held so that the working pattern of the
executive can be checked and improved if needed.

 Company representatives should visit different cities or area and should


make a long teem relationship with retailer so that they can push the
product.

 Company should also take feedback at time to time. By this they ca make
their brand loyal.

 Innovation diesel engine technology for sedan cars should be introduced


in the market. To meet out the competitive point of view companies
should conduct market survey regarding sedan cars.

 LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY

 Lack of student’s willingness for such type of studies.

 Each person is a unique person so behavior varies from person to person.


 The study was related with the DIEMS only so findings and conclusions
may not match with the other places.
