Answer all the Questions.


1. A start-up has 26 employees. Their salaries and their performance scores are given in
the excel sheet of the years 2021 & 22. The company would like to offer increment

Negative Performance / No Growth No Increment


Growth = Less than or equal to 10% 10%
Growth = More than 10% and less than 20% 20%
Growth = More than 20% and less than 30% and so on 30% and so on

Maximum Increment is capped at 50%


Calculate the new gross pay for the 26 employees if the increment is given as per the
policy mentioned above. Mention the new pay for COT1523, COT1530, COT1531,
MGT285, MGT 385, MGT 525.

2. Data on the scores of students in a class Maths, English, Science Social subjects are
given.
Create a consolidated score sheet for all the subjects in the sheet 1 and also calculate
mean, median and mode for all the subjects.

3. A company’s advertisement expenditure and relevant sales revenue data is given.
From the given data
a. Identify if any relation existing between the advertisement expenditure and
sales revenue, if existing, explain the relation and its strength.
b. Forecast the amount to be spent on advertisement to get the sales revenue of
$25000
c. Forecast how much sales can be generated if $8200 spent on the television
ads.

4. A data consisting of car sales of various companies for the years 2020 & 2021.
a. Calculate the growth or decline in sales for all the 20 ranked models of cars
given in the data. Show the growth or decline with the proportionate bats in a
column.
b. Draw a bar chart depicting the car sales manufacturer wise for the year 2021.
c. Identify the manufacturer having the highest decline from 2020 to 2021.
d. Identify the model having the highest growth from the year 2020 to 2021.
