The COVID-19 Pandemic is the largest health problem in the world today and the
biggest challenge we face. This pandemic has impacted everyone and caused major
changes in the way people live. Our lives and the way how society works have been
profoundly changed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Everyone is now adjusting to this form
of new living which they called the new normal. This pandemic is affecting people in many
different ways. Our education has been affected since the health of the students is the
most priority right now. That’s why they come up with the idea of online class which is a
big adjustment to the students and also to the teachers.
However, the pandemic was more than just a health problem but also an
increasingly high socio-economic crisis. The numerous industries and sectors are
affected by the outbreak. Many people have lost their jobs because of the pandemic and
some businesses are still closed. Socializing with other people is also limited due to the
strict implementation of the health protocols introduced by the government.
In view of possible danger and infectious nature of Covid-19 pandemic, restrictions
have been introduced worldwide to avoid the spread of this novel virus. Given the ongoing
pandemic, strengthening each other remains in each of us. People are seeking a solution
to this pandemic so that no one will ever suffer from this pandemic. Everything has now
been changed and the new normal has emerged. The Philippines is working to slow the
spread of the virus by taking various steps, such as complying to the health policy and
maintaining it. Testing and treating patients, tracing connections, restricting travel,
quarantining people and maintaining the health policy of having a major gathering, such
as sporting events, concerts.
Not just that but in today’s crisis we must take care of our physical health and also
our mental health because this pandemic has the ability to strike both our physical and
mental health. Information dissemination is also essential especially this time because of
the current pandemic. Individuals need to be kept informed about what to do and not to
do. Social platforms are a great idea for individuals and societies to remain linked, even
though physically separated, in the face of COVID-19. One of the best solutions for this
is social media, since the internet is another world where we can do all the things we are
used to and need to do, as we all know. People can be updated and prepared for the
latest news that is happening around the world, in particular the outbreak of the pandemic,
through social media that help to spread the details.
Truly that this pandemic affects every sector of the society in the world. Everyday
life during COVID-19 will continue to be challenging, particularly for health care workers
and grieving individuals. As time goes on, we learn how to keep up with the way our
government functions, and on a regular basis, we all learn how to navigate confusion and
manage the things we can control in our lives. Individuals may be suffering now but
changes will occur when things go back to normal.
