1)In Draw.io please follow these instructions to get started

1. If you are asked to select a place to save, choose “Device”

the new diagram.
2. Enter your name and grade group for your filename as
shown below:

Click on “Blank Diagram”

3. In the screen below you will see the shapes. These shapes
are used to create a flowchart and as you saw in the
beginning of this activity, they all have a meaning and
purpose.

4. When you click and hold on a shape you can drag it into
your workspace as you see below. If you want to add text in
the shape, simply double click on the shape and then begin
typing.

5. You can click on the dots at the edges of the shape to create
the next shape and draw an arrow connecting the current
shape to the new shape.
6. Once you have completed your flowchart, 1. go to “File”, 2.
Click on “Export as… PNG. ONLY SAVE IN THIS FORMAT IF
YOU ARE TOTALLY DONE WITH THE FLOWCHART BECAUSE IT
CANNOT BE EDITED IN PNG FORMAT ONLY IN Draw.io
format.
7. Upload the file into the assignment using the “Attach”
button in the assignment.
