• The main entrance to the palace grand court was flanked by great towers and
guarded by man- headed winged bulls nearly 12’6” high supporting a bold
semicircular arch decorated with brilliantly color glazed bricks.
• The plastered walls bore a painting decorative and a triple band of friezes, framed in running ornament
about 18’ high overall around the room above a stone dado relief. GITAM SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE
