OBJECTIVE

Learn how to measure steady-state and dynamic phenomena

Study the dynamic response and the calibration of instruments

Apply simple statistical methods to experimental data

Learn to use computer-assisted controlled instrumentation and data acquisition

systems

Learn about various measurement devices: Characteristics - operation

and limitations

Learn to write technical papers/reports using a professional standard

OUTCOMES

Find information for making measurements of physical quantities

encountered by mechatronic engineers

Plan and carry out measurements of physical quantities, using

common laboratory instruments

Use personal computers and develop simple computer programs

to assist the collection and analysis of experimental data

+ Prepare technical papers/reports

8. Description
Measurement of steady-state and dynamic phenomena
using common laboratory instruments. Calibration of
instruments, dynamic response of instruments, and
statistical treatment of data.

1. Mid-term grade: 0.3 (30%)

- Lab work and reports: Requirement for all
exercises => to lab PMO (tutor)
- Sub-Project (Group) => Mid-term Grade (Instructor)

2. Final exam (writing): 0.7 (70%)
