MORE ABOUT JUNG HO YEONG

But here's all you have to know about the turned actor model.

HER AND HER VOGUE JOURNEY

Only a fun tidbit, Vogue once called it Next Top Model of Korea. The journal labelled the native
of Seoul as a blend of Hanne Gaby Odiele and Cara Delevingne models in 2015. "Take Hanne
Gaby Odiele for streetstyle, add Cara Delevingne's goofy antiques and you have a redheaded
stunner who – we call him now – is the next girl to make a splash in the states," writes Monica
for Vogue at the time. "You'll find that one of the top modelling girls of Seoul is a redheaded
stunner." This title is fitting only, given that she took part in the next model in Korea back in
2013. Since the age of 27 the Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Prabal Gurung have been walking the
runways for more.

ACTING ROLES AND SQUID GAME

The first acting role of Squid Game is her. She told W Korea, via NME: "I moved to my present
acting agency in January, and then I was thinking that they'd train me in some degree before
putting me to work. "A group chat, with our CEO, was nevertheless made by February and he
handed me the Squid Game screenplay, urged me to make a movie, and sent me a video audition.
At that moment, I was at the New York Fashion Week!"

She got the part, of course. "The first thing I asked when my CEO told me I was casted, was
'Why?'" Jung said that. Jung said. "When I heard the news, I was so glad, yet it was like a bigger
terror took hold of me. 'Thanks a lot, but I can do it?' " [I was like that.

Kang Sae-byeok is her connection. "I think I've been able, above all, to embrace Sae-byeok [the
character] without any major difficulty since I look like her," she remarked in the same
interview. "I left Korea in 2016 to advance my profession in modelling abroad and spent a lot of
time alone. The emotion I had at the time was 'solitude.’. It's not all that dissimilar than the sense
of alone in the attempt to live and live."
