The main organs of rhe body have ordinary English na mes and docwrs use rhese words.
But when an adjectivt is needed they ofren use an anatomical word. For example, we

The chest
TI,e chesr (rhorax) conrains the organs of rcspirarion and rhe hearr. The main parts of rhe
respiratory system are t hc airways and thc lungs. The left lung is divided inro rwo lobes,
and the righr inro rhree. The airways consist of the larynx, rhe rrachea (or windpipe), thc
righr and lefr bronchus, and t he bronchiolcs. The chesr is separared from rhe abdomen by
rhe diaphragm.

The pelvis
