8mm tapes can also be used as an audio input format. Your


musical program is stored on the tape as a computer data file
similar to CD-ROM information. To be compatible with our play-
back systems, 8mm tapes must be ANSI labeled on DATA GRADE
cartridges (do not use Video-8 tapes) and recorded on high-den-
sity (Exabyte 8500 or 8505) non-compressing 8mm recorders.
Track start and end information must be stored on the tape
(preferably at the head) in a DDP file.

If required on the finished CDs, ISRC codes should be included in


the DDP file to avoid additional charges.

Americ Disc Inc. offers the possibility of printing a serial number, 1 Jewel Box Booklet Specifications
a series of letters or a barcode on each CD, for internal use, for
identification and tracking purposes. The barcode or alpha- DIAGRAM 1 DIAGRAM 2
numeric fonts are printed on the disc with an ink jet process. 121 mm - 4 3/4"

The serial number, the series of letters or the barcode are printed
approximately 5 mm from the center hole of the disc. It is
printed on the same side as the label.
