8mm tapes can also be used as an audio input format. Your

musical program is stored on the tape as a computer data file
similar to CD-ROM information. To be compatible with our play-
back systems, 8mm tapes must be ANSI labeled on DATA GRADE
cartridges (do not use Video-8 tapes) and recorded on high-den-
sity (Exabyte 8500 or 8505) non-compressing 8mm recorders.
Track start and end information must be stored on the tape
(preferably at the head) in a DDP file.
If required on the finished CDs, ISRC codes should be included in

the DDP file to avoid additional charges.

DISC SERIALIZATION CD PRINT
Americ Disc Inc. offers the possibility of printing a serial number, 1 Jewel Box Booklet Specifications
a series of letters or a barcode on each CD, for internal use, for

Better results can be achieved with six characters on one line.

The best option would be 5 x 7 tl. Due to space limitation on
the disc surface, the serial number or bar-code should be printed
in a single line format. A serial number or a barcode can only be

The quantity of booklets sent to Americ Disc Inc. should exceed

the CD order by at least 10%.
For automated insertion, booklets should be folded as shown in

diagram 2, with one side closed. A booklet requiring manual
insertion will incur an additional cost.
