DISC SERIALIZATION

Americ Disc Inc. offers the possibility of printing a serial number,

a series of letters or a barcode on each CD, for internal use, for
identification and tracking purposes. The barcode or alpha-
numeric fonts are printed on the disc with an ink jet process.
The serial number, the series of letters or the barcode are printed
approximately 5 mm from the center hole of the disc. It is
printed on the same side as the label.

This service requires an additional operation, which affects the

price of your CD. Listed below are some features of the printer
used for disc serialization:

Matrix: 5 x 5sl ABCD123456

5 X 7sl (single line) ABCD123456

ABCD123456
5 x 7tl (twin line) ABCD123456
5 x 7tl (single line) ABCD123456
10 x 16 single ABCD12345
10 X 16 twin ABCD12345
Better results can be achieved with six characters on one line.
The best option would be 5 x 7 tl. Due to space limitation on
the disc surface, the serial number or bar-code should be printed
in a single line format. A serial number or a barcode can only be
printed once on the same disc. The designated numbers of a
series of numbers or barcode can increase or decrease by
constant only. Range available: 1 - 99.
