The Staff Selection Commission has decided that all aspiring candidates must follow the Eligibility Criteria for SSC
CGL 2022.

Nationality
The candidate must be an Indian, Nepalese, or Bhutanese citizen to apply for SSC CGL. The Government
of India has to issue a Certificate of Eligibility to a Nepalese or Bhutanese citizen.

Age Limit
The age limit for SSC CGL 2022 is 18 to 32 years. The official notification will contain the exact Age Limit
and Month.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must be a graduate in any discipline from any recognized university or its equivalent.

Tier I: Computer Based Exam – Written Examination
Tier II: Computer Based Exam – Written
Examination Tier III: Descriptive Test (Pen and
Paper Mode)
Tier IV: Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) (wherever applicable) / Data Entry Skill Test(DEST)/ Document

Examination details
The eligible candidates have to go through four phases which are Tier-
1, Tier-2, and Tier-3.
