Delhi CET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to diploma courses offered by the participating institutes must check the
eligibility criteria of Delhi CET 2022 as prescribed by the admission authorities. With the help of Delhi CET
2022 eligibility criteria, candidates will get an idea of whether they can apply for admission in a particular
course or not.
Candidates must meet the eligibility as set by the authority, without which their applications will not be
processed. Following are the eligibility criteria of Delhi CET that candidates must meet:
• Qualifying Examination: Candidates applying for the examination must have passed the Class 10th
examination conducted by CBSE or equivalent examination board with at least 35% marks or 3.7 CGPA with
Science, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects. In addition, candidates must have passed every
subject individually.
• Physical Fitness: Candidates applying must be physically fit and will be required to present a certificate
ascertaining the physical fitness of the candidate at the time of counselling.
• Age Limit: The authority has listed the gender and category wise maximum age limits that candidate must
have as of August 1, 2022 are mentioned below in the given table.

Delhi Polytechnic Exam Pattern:

CET Delhi Polytechnic Syllabus:
• It is organized for lateral entry admission in analogous diploma courses. ITI/10+2 (Vocational Stream) pass outs
can appear this test.
• The question paper will comprise of Physics (60 questions), Chemistry (30 questions) & Mathematics (60
questions) subjects.
Delhi Polytechnic Test 1 Syllabus:
•CET Delhi Test-1 is conducted for 10th based engineering/non-engineering diploma courses. The question paper
contain questions from Physics (40 questions), Chemistry (30 questions), Mathematics (50 questions), Biology (15
questions) and English (15 questions) subjects.
•The question paper is prepared as per the CBSE syllabus of class IX and class X.

Delhi Polytechnic Test 2 Syllabus:

•Candidates who want to take admission in diploma course in Modern Office Practice – English need to appear this
test.
•This test is also organized for admission to one year certificate course in Hospitality Operations, Retail Services &
Finance Executive.
•Delhi Polytechnic Syllabus: includes sections of English Comprehension including Grammar (60 questions) of class
12th level, Current Affairs (45 questions) and Logical & Analytical Ability (45 questions).

Delhi Polytechnic Syllabus for Test 3:

•This test is organized for providing admission to diploma course in Modern Office Practice – Hindi.
•Total 150 questions from Hindi Comprehension including Grammar (60 questions) of class 12th level, Current
Affairs (45 questions) and Logical & Analytical Ability (45 questions) will be asked in the examination.

Delhi Polytechnic Exam Syllabus for Test 4:

•Candidates seeking admission in diploma course in Pharmacy can apply for this test. Total 210 questions will be
asked in this test, out of which students have to attempt only 150 questions.
•The question paper will contain questions from Physics (45 questions), Chemistry (45 questions), Mathematics (60
questions) and Biology (60 questions) subjects.
•Physics & Chemistry are the compulsory subjects while there is a choice between Biology & Mathematics subjects.
•The Delhi Polytechnic 2022 Syllabus is based on 11th & 12th class syllabus of CBSE Board.
