Early life of Buddha
*Gautama Buddha Born
as Siddhartha.
*He saw Four Great
Sights.(an old man, a
sick man, a dead man
and an ascetic)
First three sights
–endless miseries and
the fourth one he saw
peaceful and calm.

He left his wife and son to find
answers to his questions

Teachings of Buddha were based on Ahimsa, love
and compassion.

His teachings comprised the four Noble Truths and

The Buddha urged his followers to avoid living of


life of extremes and to follow the Middle Path.
