ZYCUS – RSD, refreshable spend data job

Is a ROBOT JOB that runs once a month. If it fails, then you have to go in and run it manually.
The ROBOT JOB names are seen below for reference.

To check the ZYCUS libraries for files, from the command line enter: DSPLIB ZYCUSS

The ZYCUSM (Manitowoc) and ZYCUSS (Sparta) store the four files in date order:

OFS###YYMM OFS – Order from supplier

PAY###YYMM PAY – file of payments to vendors
PTS###YYMM PTS – essentially our vendor master
VOU###YYMM VOU – file of invoices from vendors

The next picture shows how the OFS, PAY, PTS or VOU files are displayed in the various ZYCUSS
libraries:
IF the newest OFS, PAY, PTS, or VOU files are not present. Do the steps below:

To run the copy program to copy RSD files into the ZYCUS libraries where corporate can pick
them up:

1. Sign into MAN400 (if you’ve done the steps above, you’re in the MAN400)
2. Elevate user status – ZENATID (skip this if you have authorization to the BPCS
environment in question.)
3. Enter the BPCS environment that you need to copy file from i.e.: Sparta production,
Manitowoc Production
4. Once on the list of menus enter SHIFT F9 (F21) to get a command line
5. Enter CALL PGM(FRSDCPYC)
6. Once job runs enter on command line DSPLIB ZYCUSS for Sparta, or ZYCUSM for
Manitowoc and check the files.

SEE screenshots below:

The job will run immediately. Then return to a blank command line. Then enter on that command line:

DSPLIB ZYCUSS to look for the correct dates on files PAY, VOU, PTS, OFS
Now you can use the page down function to view all entries in the library.

In addition to ZYCUSM library there are:

ZYCUSMH

ZYCUSS

ZYCUSSH

ZYCUSTS

ZYCUSTSH

All these libraries are owned by profile DBFTPUSR

Enter an FTP subcommand.

The FTP job appears to be failing, which in turn sends out an email notifying of the transmission failure and does not
perform the FRSDCPYC program.

The password encoded into the script is "counig65"

The IP address the FTP is attempting to establish the connection with is 134.238.226.140

Tom

The files in ZYCUSM are created when program FRSDCPYC is executed.  This program is launched from program
FRSDFTPC when a successful transmission occurs.  If appears a new method was created without consideration of how
the files were created in the first place, and since the transmission fails the FRSDFTPC DOES NOT execute the FRSDCPYC
program which builds the files.

The questions are:

1. Does the FRSDFTPC program still need to be executed?  If so, then it needs to be enhanced not to attempt an
FTP transmission and call the FRSDCPYC program regardless.
2. If the FRSDFTPC program IS NOT needed, then does the process that executes FRSDFTPC need to be changed to
execute the FRSDCPYC program directly???

Please review to ensure they were generated correctly.

Sign into the environment, and from a command line.... "CALL PGM(FRSDCPYC)"

Mike,

The process will sent the email to up to 3 addresses.  The first two come from the FZZC file with table key of FMJOBUSR
and Code of FRSDSPNDM.  The third is hard coded in the programs, which is currently Oscar.  The quickest way to get
this moving forward is for me to update the FZCC record to send to you and Didier.  I have left Oscar hard- coded for
now.  I have changed the FZCC record if you would like to re-execute.
