It is a sustainable organic product, unlike conventional products; these products do not contain
any trace of pesticides commonly used in extensive and/or conventional agriculture, reducing
the risk of contracting diseases linked to the consumption of fruits with pesticides. In addition,
we carry out practices that reduce the negative impact of production on natural resources
(water, soil, air).

Who we are: We are an organization of producers who grow and sell organic fruits for the
domestic and export markets. Strengthened by the hard work of its member producers and
the commitment of our workers and clients, with the purpose of offering safe and nutritious
products to consumers under sustainable and fair production standards.

The CADEPOS cooperative is located in the rural community of Querecotillo and Salitral, in the
province of Sullana in the Piura region, which is more than 150 years old and its land has been
cultivated by each generation of farmers. Bananas have been grown sustainably for 50 years in
this area of northern Peru without the use of agrochemicals, and more than 20 years ago they
began the process of certifying and exporting their product organically to markets in the
United States, Europe, and Asia.

These banana differentiation processes improved the income of small producers in this
community and encouraged the planting of this crop in neighboring areas and also in other
regions of the country, thus contributing to improving the quality of life of thousands of
families of small producers in the Piura region and other parts of the country.

CADEPOS is a brand of high quality Peruvian organic bananas.

CADEPOS is currently made up of 204 small organic banana producers, representing more than
130 hectares of cultivation and selling more than 100 containers of fresh organic bananas to
the export market per year. CADEPOS works responsibly to be a cooperative with a solid and
profitable economic and financial structure, contributing socially and economically to local and
regional development.

Our Mission: To produce and provide organic and healthy food, fresh and processed, under
sustainable and fair production standards. To ensure the social welfare of our partners and
workers, with sustainable environmental management practices in our production processes,
maintaining sustainable profitability margins of the organization, our suppliers and customers.

Our Vision: We contribute to the improvement of the social and economic wellbeing of our
partners and workers, commercializing our organic products in fair markets; our customers
identify us by producing healthy, quality organic food under our global brand.

Our History: CADEPOS was established on October 30, 2019 and was registered in public
records on November 26, 2019, began with 44 partners who cultivated 31.86 ha of organic
bananas, from that date they set out to provide its partners advice on integrated management
of banana cultivation in order to achieve the sale for export of their product and began
marketing bananas to the local market, for December 2020 achieved GLOGALG.A.P. and
organic certifications USDA-NOP, EC Nº 834/2007 and EC Nº 889/2008 and Technical
Regulation for Organic Production (RTPO).
