The project highlights the significance of


developing and maintaining productive
relationships with suppliers in a fast-changing,
supply chain market. The study explores the

take to improve and foster mutually beneficial
relationships with suppliers, thereby, enhancing
the process of purchase management.
The scope of this project will be confined with
the procurement/store/logistics/finance dept. of
Brahmananda
Scope Narayana Multispeciality Hospital. The focus
will be on to reduce PR-PO, Supply and Storing,
lead time, inventory reduction, avoid stock
out/dead stock/no stock situations for stable
plant operation, vendor appraisal/development
and performance management.

Hospital, Jamshedpur is a tertiary care hospital
in the state of Jharkhand, India, operated by
the Narayana Health group. The hospital

organization where surgery and cardiology, nephrology ,
the study will be an oncology outpatient department, general

Medicine, gynaecology and dentistry. The
hospital provides financial assistance to patients
with the backing of local government
organizations and NGOs for surgery and
treatment.
The hospital was opened in July 2008 by
Narayana Health and the Brahmananda Sewa
Sadan Trust at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, to treat
patients across various socio-economic
backgrounds. It was established and founded by
the chairman of Narayana Health, cardiac
surgeon, Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty.
The hospital provides the only epilepsy clinic in
the city, and provides care for adults, the elderly
and children. The hospital operates an
ambulance with advanced cardiac life
support (ACLS), a blood bank,
a radiology department, 24/7 emergency and
trauma services, 90 intensive care beds and
five operating theatres.

The project study will be carried out at the


MCPI. The primary data will be collected from
the various records available at the
Procurement/Store department. Whereas the
Methodology secondary data will be Collected by a discussion
with various higher authority of concern
departments as well as from procurements tools
like ERP, Manual practices, 5S, Internal
material allocation to the different agencies.

With the completion of this project, help to


streamline PR-PO, Supply and Storing, lead
Conclusion/ time, inventory reduction, avoid stock out/dead
recommendations stock/no stock based on their performance.
