T: In our group, we have decided that the greatest invention of modern technology is the
smartphone.
T or D: Now, why is it the greatest invention?
T: We all know that smartphones work like a computer, we can use it in communication, for
entertainment, shopping, education and many more. Majority of individuals would agree with the
notion that the smartphone has already engendered a myriad of advantages for modern people.
This is mainly due to the fact that this is portable yet extremely convenient gadget essentially and
successfully combined all useful electronic devices into one easy to hold product. To further
understand, here are some reasons why we chose smartphone as the greatest invention in the
modern technology.

T: (Online Shopping, Business, Work, Photos, Portability)
T or D: The fact that smartphones have become such an integral part of our lives is, in many
ways, a huge indication of how much we have changed as a whole, and how much we have
evolved as individuals and as communities in the past decade or so. We now expect to be able to
connect with each other at any time, even when we are on the go. It might not seem like much at
first glance, but it has already had innumerable positive effects on our society and world.
Just like a new found power can change the course of history, smartphones have changed the
way we communicate with each other. People of different backgrounds all around the world are
now able to communicate with each other more effectively, which has brought much needed
harmony to many international relationships. Smaller communities in a larger society are also
now more easily reachable and a lot closer, making it easier to gather huge amounts of people
with similar interests, who share a common sense of identity and belonging, sometimes even
transcending national borders. And that’s why we consider smartphones as the greatest invention
of all time.

But we also have to understand that whatever technology we have, modern or not, greatest
invention or not, everything has a limitation. Smartphones are often linked to some
disadvantages. The only reason why is the improper use of users such as excessive use of social
media, too much gaming, too much time spent on smartphones. People can waste as much time
on them playing games or catching up on updates in their social medias very often, many people
are slaves of their smartphones and they cannot be more than an hour without looking it and the
main disadvantage of having a smartphone is in case of stealing, all the information might be lost
However, it is not theImagine, with the use of smartphones, everything becomes convenient and
efficient; Fast access to data anytime and anywhere ,Faster response when we need help or have
questions,We could learn new things at anytime and any place , and Easier to keep in touch with
friends and family who are far away

And for us to productively consume these benefits of smartphones, we need to be more mindful
and responsible about the use of our devices.

All technologies have advantage and disadvantages and. Also, the information is not completely
safe because hackers usually use your personal information for criminal purposes. In conclusion,
although smartphone is not an ideal device, but I prefer to use it to make my life simpler.
