Sunlight in Architecture is a 2021 Architecture Conceptual design
SUNLIGHT IN Competition, organized by Archiol. Sunlight is one of the most
ARCHITECTURE important and powerful design elements. How can the different
types of natural light be used in architectural design? Using
different types of natural light, such as diffused, direct, reflected,
and zenith create conceptual design.

ARCHITECTURE
The EnteKochi competition is a national level Urban Design
ENTE KOCHI URBAN Competition, aiming to jointly ‘design the future city’ of Kochi. It is

integrated civic project. The Kochi Municipal Corporation calls all
creative minds to participate!
The Kochi Municipal Corporation (KMC) and the GIZ (German
ENTE KOCHI URBAN Agency for International Cooperation) jointly call for all creative
DESIGN CHALLENGE minds in the field of urbanism, architecture, landscape design as
well as environmental and social science experts to participate in
the next phase of EnteKochi (My Kochi) - the EnteKochi-
Competition!
ENTE KOCHI URBAN The EnteKochi-Competition is a national level Urban Design
Competition (UDC) that aims to jointly ‘design the future city’ of
DESIGN CHALLENGE Kochi. It is envisaged to plan and then facilitate the implementation
of an integrated civic project that is of key relevance for the
sustainable development of Kochi.
Community involvement - For residents of Kochi, this is an
opportunity for you to be part of the urban development process of
ENTE KOCHI URBAN your city by sharing insights, experiences, and ideas. As a resident,
DESIGN CHALLENGE you will be able to give information about the site to the professional
participants by using interactive tools coming up on this website.
Selected residents will also have a chance to be on the jury panel
which will choose the winning designs.

To technically define - An architectural design competition is a type of design competition in which
an organization that intends on constructing a new building invites architects to submit
design proposals. The winning design is usually chosen by an independent panel of design
professionals and stakeholders (such as government and local representatives).
