The "RH" series was designed to be a highly workable coiled tubing hanger with greater
reliability and more efficiency than other coiled tubing hanger systems.
The "RH" hanger system allows the coiled tubing installer easy access to the slips and
pack-off assembly, through the use of a snubbing window (available from Wellhead
Control Products, Inc.) attached to the BOP stack. This design provides customers the
most reliable and efficient way to set or retrieve the slips and pack-off assembly.
Wellhead Control Products, Inc. wrap around segmented slips are designed for maximum
hanging capacity with minimal tubing deflection. This field proven design is tested and
has been certified for hanging capacity exceeding the maximum tensile strength of
today's high quality tubing.
The "RH" pack-off assembly is a preinstalled lock pin activated primary seal. Wellhead
Control Products, Inc. has developed a unique design incorporating two hardened steel
tubing guide plates above and below the sealing element virtually eliminating wear to
assure pack-off reliability time after time.
CAPILLARY INJECTOR HEAD
The shear and seal unit is completely manual. It is fully reusable, and completely
serviceable. The system can shear up to 3/4" tubing, and can handle 2000 psi of well
pressure.
CAPILLARY TUBING COUNTER
The tubing counter uses a high precision counting wheel that is directly coupled to
the manual read out. The counting wheel is machined to .0005", making it extremely
accurate. There are 4 pipe rollers to guide the pipe through the box, and provide the
strength to align the tubing onto the reel. The rollers ride on sealed bearings for
smooth operation and a long life. Snap in axle shafts make roller changes quick and
easy. The body of the counter is split and hinged so that it can be opened for
removal of the tubing.
STAND ALONE CAPILLARY STRIPPER
WCP constructs its coil tubing units on an individual basis. Each unit is custom built to
meet the needs and specifications of the customer. This process does take longer than
manufacturing some "cookie-cutter" tubing unit, but the end result is a high quality piece
of equipment.
A Hydraulic System will be designed based on the equipment that will be installed on
the trailer.. It can be either a stand alone, power pack driven system, or it can run off of
the tractor's drive train. WCP will install necessary gearboxes and pumps
Control Cabins and Instrument Panels are made in-house at WCP. The cabin can be
laid out any way you desire. Doors, windows, and chairs can be installed in any
configuration. The instrument panels are machined in our facility, out of stainless steel, to
hold all of the valves and gauges necessary for unit operation. Our average cabin is 8' x 8'
square, but it can be made to any size depending on space requirements. The cabin can be
built as a fixed unit, or one with a hydraulically lifted outer skin. This system allows the
cabin to be mounted much higher on the trailer, which assists visibility while on site. The
roof is then lowered below legal height for transportation. The cabin can also be outfitted
with a number of extra options including, but not limited to: Air Conditioning, power
converters, special lighting, computer systems, air suspension chairs, video monitoring
systems, P.A. system, and communication radios.
Custom instrument panel
Reels can be built to handle any amount of pipe desired. WCP’s high-end reel is the best
on the market. It is an indestructible piece of equipment that is designed for ease of
operation and extreme reliability.
Hose reels can be added to the unit to significantly reduce rig-up and down time when
compared to the standard "hose tree" setup
The Injector Head can be mounted in any number of ways; from a simple flat mount on
the trailer deck to a hydraulically operated tilting mount on the rear of the trailer.
180K heat recovery unit capable of 10,000 psi operating pressure. Main components
include Detroit MTU engine, 2000-gallon LN2 tank, and control cabin
Large 8’square control cabin that is fully insulated, air conditioned and heated.
Operations panels for the hydraulic system (above), the engine (below left), and the
air operated valves (below right).
2000 gallon nitrogen tank with proportional air actuators on all control valves for
remote operation. Pump skid with triplex pump, lube oil system, boost pump, and
storage rack on passenger side for plug valves. Aluminum diamond plate fenders
and toolboxes. Swivel racks below the fenders, and flow iron racks above.
YARD SPOOLING STAND
Extremely accurate
Rollers available for pipes up to 2-3/8"
Heavy construction handles the thickest walled pipes.
2000 lbs. latch action clamps
5 digit large numeral counter
Output shaft for electronic pulsater
All moving parts ride on high quality sealed bearings
Below, is our air operated 30,000-PSI hydro testing unit with B.O.P. control system. It
features a skid mounted control panel with chart recorder and control valves for a Quad
B.O.P. or a double B.O.P. and pack-off. The instrument panel, side panels, and protective
cover are made of stainless steel. It has a 4-1/16" 15M test stump with Auto-Clave
fittings. It comes with a D.S.A. to 3-1/16" 10M. It has a 1-1/2-ton Jib-crane on a
swinging arm to assist in loading, unloading, and disassembly of equipment. The skid
also has a blast shield with bulletproof plexi-glass to protect the operator, a grating
covered drip pan, and forklift pockets.

DOUBLE ROLL-ON CONNECTOR
5. Rotate the lock pins inward until the lock pin bevels are entirely in contact with the top
plate bevel. DO NOT ENERGIZE THE PACK-OFF. This is to prevent pressure from
displacing the pack-off assembly when the master valve is opened.

6. Connect the access window to the
tubing hanger.
19. Secure slips around tubing and release slips into well bore.

20. Lower tubing into the well until the weight indicator reads “0”
21. Rough cut tubing a minimum of 6" above the tubing hanger top flange -remove
access window, B.O.P. stack, and coiled tubing unit.
22. The final cut should be measured accurately. This procedure will assure that the
wireline guide fits properly.
