General Mechanical comments for FANS

1-Mentioned temperature and altitude in computer selections not accordance with design conditions
2- Static pressure calculation should be submitted.
3-provide fan performance curves of selected fans.
4-All fans which are located outdoor should be fully weather proofed.
5-construction of propeller fans must follow specs, they are located in fire walls, so plastic housing and
impeller is rejected.
6-Air flow rate for fans shall be same capacity as technical schedule.
7-Utility fans should be backward or forward as specified.
8-Filter data sheet should be submitted.
9-For fans ---follow specs regarding motor should be located out of air stream, for Fan--- follow specs
regarding housing material.
10-For In-Line centrifugal fans lubricating tube should be extended to outside fan housing and they should be
furnished with companion flanges as specified.
11-Filtered louvered fans should be furnished with permanent filer as specified.
12- Back draft dampers not mentioned in attached quotation although it is mentioned in compliance sheet.
13-There is conflict in air flow rate for rate for fan--- between compliance sheet and quotation.
16- All fan--- are located in fire walls 2hour fire rated, so they should be furnished with fire dampers.
17- All ceiling mounting fans should be furnished with vibration isolator as shown in drawing detail --
18-The overall efficiency shall be minimum 60%.
19-submit the relevant document to proof that submitted fans comply with all specified standards.
