Ans: Revathi discovered that when she played on her violin the
balsam plants moved slowly and bent towards her.

Ans : Revathi decided to keep her new knowledge a secret,
because she wanted to give everyone a surprise by winning the
‘Best plants prize’.
3. How did the plants respond when Revathi played her favourite
tune?
Ans: When Revathi played her favourite tune the plants moved,
their stems slowly and bent slightly towards her.
4. How did the plants react to the fast rhythmic music?
Ans: The plants turned away from her as if they did not like what
was being played when Revathi played the fast rhythmic music.

Ans: Revathi played her favourite raga Mohanam sitting near the
plants and the plants bent towards her as if trying to touch her.
This proved to the organisers that there existed a bond between

the belief in her convictions? Explain your choice.
Ans: The belief in Revathi`s convictions helped her to claim her
plants. She was confident that her plants were music lovers like
her and she proved it in front of the orgainsers when she played
the violin and her plants responded to her music.
