Test Launch Report

Summary
The aim of this project was to launch a new effective system for ordering food at Sauce and
Spoon. The launch at Sauce and Spoon was a success and the raw data reports will reflect
that. This report will discuss some of the finding from our survey of 50 people.

Milestone: Successfully launched tablet rollout for increasing orders .

Overview
Goal: Launch new tablet ordering system at Downtown and North Sauce and Spoon locations to
increase orders while decreasing wait time/ table turnover.
Findings
During our test launch
what we discovered was
that when people used the
tablets they ordered more
food. 100% ordered
dinner, 82%
appetizers,70% dessert,
and 56% drinks. These
findings show that they
when ordering in
advanced they ordered
more.
Our yearly goal is to
increase revenue based
on a diversified menu and
with the implementation of
the tablet we can reach
our goals.
Next Steps
Some recommendations we have for the future is offering happy hour specials on drinks
and desserts in the future. We would like to have our projected order margins for drinks
and dessert to increase to over 75% each without showing a decrease in food and
appetizers.

Another suggestion we have is to have the orders rollout in increments of 7 - 8 minutes. If a

person orders a drink that will come out immediately, followed by appetizer in under 5
minutes, and then dinner in 8 - 12 minutes, and dessert upon request.
Next Steps

Since we would like to increase our order goals to meet revenue goals, we would like
to increase the budget to hire more back of the house staff. In order to keep the
operation running, we have to be quick with our order turnarounds.
